Some actions during the weekends

The weekend 23.-25.3 I renovated my brother’s house in Tampere. He bought the house and it needed some renovation as painting, new wallpapers, fixing and we even made a new sauna there. As his 4yr old son told me, his family can’t go to any trips now for a while, as they cannot afford anything. The truth always comes from the kids’ mouth ;)

On the following weekend 30.-31.3 my lovely friend from Jyväskylä came to Helsinki since he became a model of my workplace’s ads. It’s a long story how he got that job, but i didn't do anything to affect that. He just called me one day and told me about the invitation for being a model in the Varma’s advertising campaign. After the modeling on Friday he joined me and my workmates for bowling and after that we headed to the bar for long but very nice evening. It was so nice to introduce him as our model-boy to my friends, and he seemed to enjoy the new name ;> After that day and shopping together on the following day I had so good feeling about the fact there exists such a lovely and friendly guy as he is.

In April 13th .-15th I spent the weekend in sport academy in southern Finland. That weekend was supposed to be a training camp for marathonists of our company and we were 8 people there. Can’t really say we did a lot of sport, but mainly trained the after marathon at nights. Of course we needed to go running all together once, so that we have an evidence to show our sponsor how we practice. ;) On the following day the others left and I stayed in the cottage and got my good friends to join me for the next night. I had a little thin feeling after staying awake until early morning, but still we did long walking trip on saturday and went to gym in the evening. We even opened the barbeque-season there (njam! four girls combining cooking skills can't result anything else but delicious dinner ;) and went to the country club to party. After partying walked home and saw some half-naked guys cooling down after sauna on their terrace in the neighborhood. Just a quarter later our doorbell rung and there they were, wearing only towels around the waist! The reason they came was that they run out of water in their shower…. Hahhhaaaa, very good attempt! I have always been told, the guys don’t come and pick you up from home…but that seems not true ;o
